Classic Margarita

Classic Margarita made by Cascadia Liquor

Our classic margarita is a timeless cocktail that’s perfect for any occasion (especially Cinco de Mayo). To make it, you’ll need:

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ oz. Blanco tequila

  • 1 oz. Orange liqueur (Triple Sec)
  • ¾  oz. Fresh lime juice
  • ½ oz. Agave nectar or simple syrup
  • Lime wedge and coarse salt for rimming the glass
  • Ice

    Method

Run a lime wedge (the juicy part) around the top rim of your serving glass. Fill a shallow bowl or plate with lime salt, then dip the rim until it is covered with your desired amount of salt. Make the margarita mix. Add tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice and a few ice cubes to a cocktail shaker. Cover and shake vigorously for about 10 seconds. Give the mix a taste and stir in a teaspoon or two of sweetener if desired (we suggest agave). Fill the prepared serving glass with ice. Strain in the margarita mix, garnish with a lime slice, serve and enjoy. Cheers!

    • 1 oz. Orange liqueur (Cointreau)
    • ¾  oz. Fresh lime juice
    • 3 oz. Fresh mango juice
    • 2 Small jalapeños
    • Fresh mango, diced
    • Tajin
    • Lime wedge and coarse salt for rimming the glass
    • Ice

      Method

Reserve one jalapeño for garnish and slice the second (remove seeds for less heat). Rim a cocktail glass with lime and dip in Tajin seasoning, set aside. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice add a few slices of jalapeño and a few chunks of fresh mango. Muddle well. Add in tequila, lime juice, and mango juice and shake until well chilled. Pour into a prepared cocktail glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with mango, jalapeño and a wheel of lime. Enjoy!
