The perfect frozen cocktail for a summer patio! Pair it with chips and guacamole and you’ll feel just like you’re sitting on a sandy beach in Mexico.
This recipe will make just under 40 ounces, or 5 cups worth. It is also sized to use half a bottle of tequila, or an entire 375 ml bottle. If you want a pitcher of Daiquiris, simply use rum instead of tequila.
- 12.5 ounces of tequila
- 5.5 tbsp of sugar
- 2.75 ounces of lime juice
- ⅓ tsp of salt
- 22 ounces of ice
Add your sugar to the Tequila and stir until it is dissolved. Fill the blender with ice and pour your sweetened tequila on top. Add lime juice and salt. Blend on high for 15 to 20 seconds. Pour into a prepared glass and garnish however you like.
