Meyer Family Vineyards Steven's Block Chardonnay
Made from Wente clone vines (from California), which are planted on silty clay loam soils, this Chardonnay spent 8 months ageing on fine lees in seasoned French oak and went through 100% natural secondary fermentation. Aromas of Asian pears and yellow apples, honeysuckle and spritzy lemon notes with vague spiced oak and hazelnuts. It is clean, focused and fresh with oodles of tangy citrus peel finish.
