Cascadia Liquor – Delivery Policy

1. Introduction

At Cascadia Liquor, we offer local delivery of alcoholic beverages through trusted third-party delivery partners, private delivery and in-store pickup options. We do not offer traditional shipping of products outside of local delivery services. This policy outlines how our delivery services work, what to expect, and your responsibilities as a customer.

2. Delivery Availability

2.1 Service Areas

Delivery is available to customers located within the defined service areas of our participating stores on Vancouver Island. Availability depends on your location and delivery partner coverage. You may have the ability to choose if you would like your order to be picked up by you at our store or delivered to you by a third party courier. You may be provided confirmation for when your order will be ready for pickup or when your order will be delivered. We make no guarantee on when your pickup or delivery will be ready for you. is not responsible for any delays in receiving or having your order ready for any reason.

For a pickup order you will arrive at our store once you have been notified that the order is ready to be picked up. If you order alcohol. You warrant that you are of legal age to purchase and consume alcohol in the area in which the alcohol is delivered and are not ordering alcohol for any person below the legal age in the applicable jurisdiction. You acknowledge and agree that third party couriers may require valid government-issued photo identification(s) matching the name on the order and proving your age to the third party courier, and that the recipient is not intoxicated when receiving a delivery. If you are unable to meet these conditions to the satisfaction of the courier then alcohol products may be withheld, and any refund for such withholding is at the discretion of or the third party courier. If you order alcohol and the alcohol is to be delivered, the delivery address must be a residential, private or business/office address. For greater certainty, alcohol orders may be subject to time and location restrictions.

2.2 Delivery Partners

We use reputable third-party delivery platforms such as DoorDash, Uber Eats and Skip the Dishes to facilitate delivery to your door. Orders placed for delivery will be fulfilled through these services or through our website at cascadialiquor.com

3. Placing Delivery Orders

3.1 Online Orders

To request delivery, place your order through Cascadia Liquor’s website or directly via our delivery partner platforms. You will be prompted to select delivery at checkout or in the delivery partner app.

3.2 Order Cut-off Times

Same-day delivery is available for orders placed before the specified cut-off time (before 12:00 PM local time), subject to partner availability. 

3.3 Order Confirmation

Once your order is accepted, you will receive confirmation, either on our website or from the delivery partner, with estimated delivery timing and tracking details where available.

4. Delivery Fees & Charges

Delivery fees when placing orders on the Cascadia Liquor website are $10.00.  Minimum order of $50.00 is required to qualify for delivery.

Delivery fees are determined by the third-party delivery service and may vary by location, order size, and delivery demand. Any delivery fees, service charges, or minimum order requirements are shown at checkout with the delivery partner. Customers are responsible for paying associated delivery fees directly through the delivery platform.

5. Age Verification & Legal Requirements

5.1 Legal Drinking Age

All deliveries of alcoholic beverages require that the recipient be of legal drinking age (19+ in British Columbia). You must certify your age when placing the order.

5.2 ID Verification at Delivery

Delivery drivers are required to verify 2 pieces of government-issued photo ID at the point of delivery. Someone 19 years of age or older must be present to accept the delivery. Failure to provide valid ID may result in the delivery being refused or returned.

6. Delivery Process & Expectations

6.1 Contactless Delivery

Contactless delivery options may be available through delivery partner apps. Customers will have delivery instructions and preferences collected through the app.

6.2 Delivery Attempt

If the recipient is unavailable or unable to present valid ID, the delivery partner may make additional attempts or cancel and return the order to the store. Additional re-delivery fees may apply at the customer’s expense.

6.3 Delivery Times

Delivery times are estimates provided by the delivery partner and may vary due to traffic, demand, weather, or other conditions outside our control.

7. Order Changes & Cancellations

Orders may be changed or cancelled prior to preparation and hand-off to the delivery partner. Once the order has been processed for delivery, changes may not be possible. Contact us or the delivery partner immediately if you need to modify your order.

8. Returns, Refunds & Issues

8.1 Incorrect or Damaged Items

If you receive incorrect or damaged products, please contact Cascadia Liquor right away so we can assist with resolution. Supporting documentation or photos may be required.

8.2 Delivery Problems

Delivery delays, failed deliveries, or service complaints should be directed first to the delivery partner. Cascadia Liquor will help escalate issues where appropriate.

9. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate delivery information at checkout.
  • Be present to receive delivery and present valid photo ID showing legal age.
  • Comply with all local laws related to the purchase and possession of alcoholic beverages.

10. Policy Updates

Cascadia Liquor may update this Delivery Policy from time to time. Revised policies will be posted on our website and will apply to new delivery orders after the effective date.
